Due to the current uncertainty of Covid-19, we have made some changes to our terms and conditions. These will be in place for the duration of the pandemic. They may be updated at any time as the situation evolves.
We have made our terms and conditions as flexible as possible. Ski Cosy Ltd. will take responsibility and honour your booking if, due to Covid-19, we are unable to perform our contractual obligations on the start date of your booking. This may be due to:
Resort closure on or before the start date of your booking.
French authorities implementing a travel ban or travel restrictions as a direct result of Covid-19.
A local lockdown in the immediate area.
Closure of French borders.
Closure of Swiss borders (for guests with flights booked to Geneva).
Mandatory quarantine period when entering France, implemented by French authorities, that covers the duration of the guests stay. This does not include a period of quarantine due to a positive Covid-19 test or as a result of having been in contact with someone who has tested positive.
In any of the above circumstances, we will honour your booking and offer a refund in the form of a credit note or bank transfer for the total amount paid to date. A credit note will be valid for 24 months from the start date of your cancelled booking.
Ski Cosy Ltd. Can not be held liable or take responsibility if we are able to stay ‘open’ and can fulfil our contractual obligations. In this situation we will not issue refunds, credit notes or any other compensation. This may be due to:
The guests cancelling their holiday due to Covid-19 restrictions or reluctance to travel. This includes but is not limited to; travel advice from their country of residence; restrictions imposed by their government, health authorities (such as a local lockdown or boarder closure) or travel provider (eg airline, ferry operator).
A quarantine is imposed by the Government of the guests country of residence during the guests stay.
A guest shows symptoms of or tests positive for Covid-19 pre departure.
If any guest shows symptoms of or tests positive for Covid-19 during their stay and has to self isolate, Ski Cosy Ltd. does not accept liability or responsibility to provide accommodation beyond the dates of their reservation.
If travel restrictions are announced during the guests stay and result in an early departure, Ski Cosy Ltd. will not issue a refund or credit note. We will supply the relevant documents if the guests wish to make a claim through their travel insurance provider. All guests of Ski Cosy Ltd. are required to have suitable travel insurance.
